i assume negan is a group.

In the comics, Negan is the leader of The Saviors, who carries a modified baseball bat. He is known for bashing peoples brains in.

I think that the show may actually go the route of it being a group. The episode before the last, there were a bunch of Polaroid pictures of bashed in faces above a man's bed, that eventually gets killed in his sleep. I think it may be playing homage to the comics, and Negan actually being a group name.

The show has loosely been based on the comics, so it will be interesting what route they go. We will see soon enough.

Nope, Jeffrey Dean Morgan has been cast as Negan. We will meet him, and if it's like the comics... oh boy. I don't think they can substitute another person for that role. I'm guessing that will be the season finale.

I read an article that said it will be the most impressive introduction yet. I'm excited, and scared for our heros at the same time.

Ultimately though, our guys have left such a path of destruction that it's hard to imagine them ever getting taken down.

The feels from Carol and Maggie walking out, having rescued themselves and killed every one of their captors. Intense.

It is interesting, Maggie and Carol both seem to have been pushed into a similar internal struggle that Rick went through a few seasons ago. Curious to see how they evolved.

Anyone else get a kick out of Rick jumping up after killing that guy, looking around, wondering what the fuss is about? He has adopted that world and made it his bitch.

It was sort of in line with Eugene stepping up as more than comedic relief.

I'd like to see Glenn and Maggie live on, but it really doesn't matter now that the whole "walkers=dangerous" aspect of the show seems to be dead.

Maybe, as it seems clear that Maggie will be in labor when she is in danger they'll whack the newborn just for that extra special "pop" to start next season.
