I dont know if anyone said it Pontiac G8. Good sleeper you might be able to find on in the high 20's.

You know anything about the new 5.0?

There is a test against the e92 m3 and they run virtually identical lap times, with the m3 understeering more and the stang more likely to step out.

The new 5.0 is also way cheaper... I really like this car.

    Out of danny's range, though.

clown shoe for sure. With an s54, simpler and faster than e46 I'd think.

I don't know if anybody has said it yet, but an S5x E30 is much faster vs. A stock or mildly modified Sti or Evo.

That being said, I almost bought an Evo for a daily driver but settled for an E36 M3/4 instead-- only because I'm a BMW tech. Oh yeah, did I mention that I regret that decision? Evos are fantastic to drive and have tons of potential..

There's this guy that drives a Evo8 at the local BMWCCA autocross events. The car is NASTY. I'd at least test drive one if possible. I got a ride in a 400 awhp Evo8 and it was pretty amazing. The interior doesn't look that great. In fact, it looks ugly.

Nobody's seemed to mention that the e46 m3 has the same subframe issues that that e36's had.

I've driven an e46 m3, in all honesty I found it a bit disappointing. The engine lacks adequate torque for such a big chassis.

I'd seriously consider the CTS-V or a G35/350Z (ones with the Rev up motor) Although, you'd have to get past the g35/350z interior quality. It's not the worst but it's certainly not the greatest.
