Worst job of mine was in HS, I worked at a staples. Spent all day stocking pencils and trying to hide from my dickhead boss. There were some fun times though, like stripping out all the screws with a drill while assembling office chairs for customers.<---Goodnight, sweet prince

^ I'm 20 and Staples was the only job I've had since 16. I only work it weekends because its easy as hell and my mangers that have come and gone have all been nice. And because I can take off whenever the fuck I want and goof off at work since 4 years is the longest a part timer has ever been there.
Paying for shit while a junior in college warrants this.

I saw a documentary about cleaning up murders/deaths/suicides. Very well payed.
I was always self employed so probably the "worst" thing I did was when I was twelve we sold golf balls at the course and we had to go through all the bushes, creeks, and ponds to find them and then clean them all.
We made so much money it was amazing.

I have owned a towing company for almost 25 years now. Been the evidence tow for The California Highway Patrol for 12 years of those years. I've seen it all, people going in the worst ways on the freeways. Thank god in all those fatal accidents, I've never seen a kid under the age of 18.88 M3 Diamantschwarz

Summer before my junior year of hs i worked for a commercial cleaning company. basically i was a privatized janitor. i worked with all illegal immigrants that didnt speak english, from 8am to 6pm everyday. we usually cleaned up newly built apartments and college dorms after construction was done, mopping the floors, cleaning the bathroom, that stuff. I hated it so much.
Best job was all senior year of hs and the summer after, delivering pizza. averaged $12/hour depending on tips, and got gas money, and became good friends with all my coworkers and bosses.Originally posted by george gravesIs that Hitler having a Juicy Juice in your avatar?Originally posted by Raxeyes :(Originally posted by Wh33lhopI FUCKING LOVE JUICE. a

I hate it but it paid the bills for a long long time
You were a finnsiher and only making 12 cash ???? WTF a good finisher makes at least 22 normal wages and 15-20 under the table
But it was also a small crew, 3 white guys and another 4-5 mexicans? And basically everyone did everything except the foreman who was the only one who used the small 'dozer for stuff.Need parts now? Need them cheap? steve@blunttech.com

No one shitty job that stands out, I've been pretty lucky, but the worst aspect of any job I've had was probably when I worked on a farm, one of my jobs was to go around the island and collect all the dead sheep carcasses, chuck them into a trailer, take them to the fire pit, soak them in diesel and light 'em up.
The worst ones simply pulled apart on the spot and had to be buried, which if you weren't standing upwind of, would make you yack on the spot.
The ones that did make it to the pit usually ended up burning for 3-4 days, and the smell during that time was something I'd never wish on anyone.
Though the whale that washed up and had to be given the same treatment made the sheep smell seem like Eau de Cologne in comparison.

Im only 21, but I cant decide what was the hardest.
Roofing. Carring the bundles of shingles up was a bitch.
Landscaping. Loading up field rocks into a truck, pulling stumps, carrying logs.. etc.
Paintball field. We often had to shovel a football size field of sawdust.. fun but hard.
Combining newspapers. After doing 1000 you may have to do someone elses 1500. Ahh!!
Working on cars is the hardest, but the most fun.
Worst? Mcdonalds during high school BY FAR. I hated the corporate people, some of the customers, and the grease from the grill getting on your arms causing an acne burn. Mopping the greasy floors sucked. People carelessly piling up garbage into a full bin, when there is an empty garbage bin a foot away. It sucked, I would do any of the 5 above for a month vs a week at mcdos, it pissed me off.
