I worked at a call center bothering people during dinner time when I was in high school. I lasted exactly 3 4-hour shifts before I was let go for not being assertive enough.

you're in the dirt. you're wet. you're tired. you've got decaying leaves up your ass. you've got 70lbs on your back. you've got another 10 miles to go. etc.

                it sucked.

                but it was also awesome.

Dog Kennel: In the summer those things aren't airconditioned. Hot, hairy, smelly, sweaty, and filled with poo. Most dogs end up getting diarrhea when you leave them in the kennel too.

Winter Landscaper: Shoveling snow, picking up piles of frozen leaves, and spending the whole day in the cold sucks. Trimming viburnum bushes had to be the worst. Its a super fine dust that gets in your lungs and chokes you for hours on end.

Supervisor Warren Stamping Plant: Ahhh the summer of Chrysler. It was 2008 and my first job out of college. I was put in charge of 50 angry UAW employees at a steel stamping facility on Mound and 8 mile road in Detroit on 2nd shift. In the summer its over 100 degrees inside and 23 metal presses mean its over 115 decibels.

The worst job I ever had was working night shift floor crew at our local Walmart. We were the biggest and busiest store in the district and for some stupid reason corporate thought the floors sold the store so they had to be perfect before we left everynight. Needless to say after three months of their bullshit I never showed up again.

The worst job I ever had was probably my first job as a survey drafter which was not bad at all. Most of the time I got all my work done in 4 hours and sat around for the rest of the day or got to leave early and my boss would still pay me for 8 hours. My boss was pretty fucking cool for an old guy, he also helped pay for my school. The only bad part were the few times I would have to go out into the field in the winter and help survey. Most of the time my boss would only ask if I wanted to go out in the field if it was nice out. This would probably beat my current job if the pay was the same.

I worked at a computer company at 15 for two months during the summer where we had to assemble computers and set up computer systems. The job wasn't too bad, but it sucked working 40 hours a week at that age for $1.50 an hour. But I had money for beer on the weekends, and I saved enough for a new video card so I could dominate in Counter-Strike haha

Changing oil at a quick lube center. Shit pay, constantly soaked in oil, every customer comes in in a bad mood and doesn't trust a word you say (some cases understandable.)

worst? Was a detail manager/only detailer there at an old school conveyor style car wash, for about a month. The owners also own my parents house they rent(how I got the job, kind of), and the place was at least 45 min. from my house.
They had me set up at making 30% of the details. which there were almost never any. I was not the salesman, and the guy who was was not selling details very well.

One week I made 80$ and 20$ of it went in my gastank...

thats the worst I guess, ive only worked as an auto detailer though so only the pay/drive was shit. same job has made me a shitload of cash at other companies.

you have to learn to stick up for yourself. if you are doing skilled labor, you get skilled pay. its that simple.

you should have told your boss, "this job here is what you hired me for $10/hour for. im ok with that. however, if im going to be a mechanic, i want mechanics pay. or at least 75%."

you have to draw a hard line with your boss about pay. the more money they dont pay you, the more money they keep. so its in their best interests (short term) to pay you as little as possible.

and lee, im pretty sure the conki was in hungary. not china.
