Peanuts? South African slang pwns me, lol. income is relevant to where you live but you will be able to get along just fine with the combined income of you and your spouse. I'd hold off on a baby or wedding though. Keep in mind where you live may have different laws pertaining to a street legal car. I know your cars have a nasty bit of work done to them so make sure they're emissions-ready before you get them registered. <<The only an only reason I don't live in Cali. God, I love not having emissions ;) I believe one of your cars are a track car... get a trailer, lol. Can't remember if it was your car or not, but I'm pretty sure chromoly tube CA's are not street legal anywhere, nor is a modified e-brake.

First off i would like to say ..FUCK all you Californians! Another nice e30 doesn't need to be swallowed by the west coast. That being said, come to FLA. We don't have earthquakes or tornadoes. We see our natural disasters come weeks in advance, and not to mention our climate pretty much never changes. So if you love your car you will choose Fl. That is all.
Looking for a 3.46 or lower LSD. Lets make a deal. LSx e36TI coming soon
A climate change (dramatic I should say) is good for the soul, right? Ah, our rain steers so many away. The job market is improving here but, the housing market is not. That's only in terms of flipping houses. In reality a co-worker/buddy of mine just bought his first house with zero down and less than a 4% interest rate locked in 30 year. Humble at 1,580sqft but still, he's 24 and unmarried.
Depends on what you're looking for. Honestly, I wouldn't go to CA if you don't have a degree that would fit in with Silicone Valley or the like. Contracting work is tits up down there. Not that WA is much better. As other's have mentioned, Texas is a good bet economy wise. I wouldn't cringe much at the idea of Arizona either.
not to be racist but i've had multiple african americans comment on how they love my car. I've seen pics of e30's rolling through africa with at least 15-20 africans on them with ak-47's. WILD. its in the african blood. Hope this wasn't too racist, forgive me as I am intoxicated.
People with college degrees are being crimially under-employed.... I am a high-school graduate, went to trade school BUT I am a felon and in California, that is the red X..... hypocritical to say the least that felons trying to get their life straight, go about it the right way, look for a job, cant do so. Then they say to people who get out of prison and re-offend "Why dont you just get a job!"..... Because they make it unbelievably difficult to do so. I was even refused a job very recently at Borders (who is felony friendly) and a fast food place because theyre giving all those jobs to the people losing their good jobs with college degrees (understandable since most companies are laying so many people off and SO many people need jobs, they settle for what they can get, therefore taking most of the jobs you could always get).... So I went around it and got a job with the gang intervention program that I attend where my past actually ADDS to my resume. And I almost didnt get that one because I have never been to state prison, just county jail. Funny how that worked out. Too good for them, but too bad for the real world haha.
All that being said.... SoCal is the greatest place on earth. Just California is getting more and more fascist with their ridiculous nanny-state laws and fees and taxes. Republicans/Democrats are all the same crook with different clothes on. Its all the same. Each incumbent runs on the "change things" platform but they leave office with shit being worse than before and more in debt. So its all a scam.

Let's say I'm kinda leaning towards Texas, and Atlanta right now. Showed the lady this thread and she likes the sound Austin Texas to be precise, but the 1st thing to ask is which tracks are close by and how is BMWCCA Club racing and SCCA GTS racing around there? :P

Peanuts is slang for earning very little, never knew it was only slang this side of the world.
My street car is a m10, which is going to be turboed in the next month or so, and my race car is a s50b32euro... although that will change for a m50b25 turbo in the future.
The race cat has a regular mild steel cage built to FIA standards, and no ebrake. My road car on the other hand I'm busy making a hydro handbrake using the standard ratcheting lever, I'm worried though it might be illegal, because I have tubular control arms, and dtm style steering arms on the suspension?

Well I'll break the mould. Dont move to Massachusetts. Boston is as expensive as SD or LA without the great weather nor the over abundance of hot girls.
Strangely, that is where the gf has family. Boston, which we might plan a holiday there sometime depending on finances.
I've never lived in Atlanta but i've stayed there and been there many times and i'm not sure why anyone would dream of living there. Maybe it's different when you get to know the place. Too many people and humid.
Being from Arizona, I would say Texas. Teaching market here sucks and there isn't many jobs here as the construction and tourism industries have collapsed.

Would just like to add this about Arizona, you got allergies? They will get a lot worse there. I grew up there (All around the valley) me and my mom both suffered with allergies for like 8 months outa the year. Although it's not a green state, being so dry and having plants bloom all year round killed us. Moved to Nor-Cal and went 4 years without so much as a sniffle.
I haven't been there for 9 years so I don't know how the market is, my sister lives there now but she had to sell her house once she started having kids during the worst of the ression and money was tight.
On the good side for AZ, just as gun friendly as Texas... But while I was living there we had road rage up the ass, and guns + road rage = bad times.
a light will shine down from somewhere, it will light upon you, you will experience an epiphany, and you will say to yourself, "I have to r3v."
