This is how our system is set up. You must be convicted on SOUND EVIDENCED, not hear say, a hunch, or how we feel about the person or that we think they did it. This is a product of fancy lawyer-en and the the prosecution not proving "beyond a reasonable doubt" that she is guilty.

I dont like this verdict but, you know I have to side with Ben Franklin and many others dating back though history well into the 1400's and can make ties into biblical lore. The presumption of innocents, and why you must have a UNANIMOUS Verdict from a pool of your peers, these are the core principals on which our legal system is based and what protect us all.

Well said. It is the price we must pay for having a judicial system that does not lock people up for a few months based upon a "hunch" that they may have done something wrong.

She did it. OJ did it. Etc. We know it. But there was no proof.

This should be a lesson to the state not to go to trial without solid evidence, and to have a DA that isn't a smirking, smug jerkoff. I watched the last few days worth of trial and closing arguments, and you could see that everything the state put forward was circumstantial.

I don't know if she did it or not, but they sure as hell didn't prove that she did, and I don't want any state executing people based on such ****ty evidence.
