kersh i aint got the moneys today.
i just checked it out with a local e21 enthusiast, he had a sick car! i wish i had taken pics of it.
but anyways we drove it and looked over it, checked for rust.
rust free, runs really strong at 275K miles (LOL) he said it sounded smoother than his, and his has 271k miles.
so yep i get paid on the 3rd and i will be picking it up then :)

he said it was a little bit of a hard start (they started it before i arrived)
and when we were spinnin around the block, he brought it up to about 4k rpms before shifting, and i did not notice any lack of fuel/power.
