1900cs's are rare. They are also aluminum bodied I think. If so you better hope for no corrosion or bodywork needed because fixing aluminum is a serious PITA.

Its a cool car, I saw one on the freeway back in April, in bad weather no less.
He was going northbound on 101 just north of Paso Robles, into the heaviest rain I've ever driven through. (The drops were so big I couldn't hear the stereo over them, and couldn't see the car in front of me either.)

A company called Pogea Racing in Germany is doing new ECU mapping stages to 300, 400 HP. Also body kits (meh), exhaust, etc.

Apparently the newest ECUs (Euro 6 ?) have the ability to spot piggyback tuning, and will dial back all the settings and kill the performance gains. So you have to hack the ECU itself. Just what I gained from a bit of reading - out of my knowledge base.

That is a TZ1 Stradale. In other words its a TZ1 for the street. I believe the current owner bought it at a used car dealer in the '80s. Its one of the featured cars in "Victory By Design" Alfa Romeo (a good watch, arguably the best one of the series.)

Its always a fun car to see on the track. I hope one day I'll be able to race alongside it.

Indeed. I've always liked the SS. There is a guy who races a white one up here who drives it to and from the races. Its not a front runner, but its sure cool to see on track.

                              Alfa 6C ..?

I just saw a rumor mill thing about a possible 6C coming.

"The Italian automaker is preparing a 6C model that will take on the Jaguar F-Type, with styling based on the Maserati Alfieri concept that debuted earlier this year in Geneva. Sporting a front-engine, rear-wheel drive setup in coupe form, the 6C will likely head to production in 2017, a year after the Alfieri.

According to a report from Auto Express, the 6C will distinguish itself with a razor-sharp front end and will be the most aggressive interpretation of the company’s new family face. Underpinning the sports car will be the same chassis as the Alfieri and power will come from a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine providing between 480 and 520 hp.

Following in the footsteps of the 4C, the 6C’s production will also be limited to just a few thousand units."

                              - AutoGuide.com

The Maserati Alfieri was one of the best-proportioned, nicest looking show cars in years - in my opinion. And way better looking that the current Maser coupe.

Much innnerwebs speculation and photoshops out there.

"It should still deliver a thrilling drive, though, with a highly-tuned version of the Ghibli’s Ferrari-built 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 under the bonnet. We already know this engine will produce between 480bhp to 520bhp in the Giulia Quadrifoglio Verde and we can expect a similar output here."

"This dovetails quite nicely with our original report, in which we said that the 6C coupe (as well as a possible four-door-sedan version) would ride on the Maserati Ghibli‘s rear- and all-wheel-drive architecture; we just didn’t know the Alfieri was a thing at that point. The Alfieri and 6C version of the platform will be whittled down to a size more befitting sports cars intended to take on the Jaguar F-type and the Porsche 911."
