My 1750 GTV with Spica and Shankle Quadra-flows sounded like it had carbs. I wish I had gotten around to buying a good set of cams for it. I so miss that car.

              F430 V8 by Hennesseyā€¦..not.

It's fun to dream, especially when you come up with stuff that is completely unrealistic, untenable, impossible, and just too generally batshit crazy to make in real life. That's what Italy's Lazzarini Design did to the Alfa Romeo 4C — Ferrari power tuned by Hennessey Performance in that gorgeous little sports car.

Just a rendering exercise - they're not actually going to do it.

The first few people are finally picking up their 4Cs new in the US.

This guy is in the Bay Area. He got Launch Edition #87 for $75,000 with LE, special options, and dealer mark-up added. He put down a deposit in July.

Hasn't broken it in yet, but says he loves it. Low fast, surprisingly loud, fun to drive, feels like an Alfa. "..it steers like one and with the upgraded suspension you feel everything under you which makes it seem like you are actually driving a car on a road not a hi tech machine."

Says the fully manual steering is great. Seats and interior are great.

                      Alfa IS back..

Never thought I'd say those words.

Another 4C, # 015, in SoCal, delivered in color Alfa Rosso, with 10 miles.

I'll take the Gulf blue, yellow, or grey 911s around it! Way better investment besides...

                            # 015 guy says:

"Just a few miles from home, at the end of our day, I was able to go into Dynamic mode (after the first 180 miles). So I tossed her into Race mode right quick. Well, let me tell you. The exhaust note changed considerably. Louder. Meaner. Growl Snarl Spit. Cough. Fart. Oops, last two were me. Goose the throttle and she jumps like a slingshot. First time all day my wife yelled, "Slow Down!"

I didn't go fast. I just goosed the throttle. Neck snapping response."

The GTV is mine. The gulf blue 911 next to it is a Carrera RS. I would take it is as well if I could afford it...

As for the other 911s, I prefer driving my Alfa to them (was close to buying a 911T before I settled into the comfort of Alfa ownership), even if it did not go crazy up in price as the others. I did not buy it as an investment vehicle anyway.
