Too bad this doesn't fit - it's for a Spider, correct?
Part #1495-26704, still has the sticker on it. Had it hanging on his wall for 30 years. $2600.

Yep, that is for a spider. There are no reproduction Sprint noses made for some reason. I've heard its because the bodies were all hand fitted and so the noses can vary a little bit. I'd pay $2600 for a new nose for mine since I think it will cost a lot more than that to fix the one I have.
This is so cool. The early Sprints are so pretty. A worthy project if there ever was one.
The pics of mine are two pages back.
Here are some pics of the interior.
And then I opened the glove box.... Got Mice?
Knowing that mice were in the car at some point, I figured I'd find more nests... And I did.
There were more that I didn't take pics of.
Knowing it sat on a dirt floor for decades, I was pretty happy to find that this was the worst of the rust. The battery sits here. everything else is solid.
One of my favorite pics, 10 years separates them, the Sprint is a 59, the GTV a '69. Both are Bertone bodies.
That car was introduced in 1963, available in several variations from 1300 to 2000, including the lightweight factory race-prepared Giulia TI Super. All-aluminum engine and trans, twin-cam, high revving, twin Webers, sweet 5 speed, 4-wheel discs, surprisingly aerodynamic. It set an under 2 liter closed course record at Talladega.
It is more of a competitor for the 2002, it is actually a bit smaller than the 02 just better proportions (I had an 02 and liked it).
The berlina was more like the neue klasse, size wise.
I thought the new class was a family of models which included the 2000/2002. Either way, the berlina looks great as well. Were those raced by the factory?
