Yeah that is exactly what would need to be done with my car.

    As it sits right now.

I'm guessing $4k worth of bodywork on the nose. With the nose fixed, the only other area that needs repair is the trunk floor where the battery sat. I could weld that in however. There is no point in my doing any more on the car until the nose gets fixed. Sure I could send the radiator out to be re-cored, or the gas tank to be sealed (its scary and still 3/4 full of turpentine.) Either one of those will run $300 or so that I could put into the bodywork.

I've thought about trying to crowd fund something but didn't think anyone would be interested.

1969 Giulia Sprint GT junior 1300.

He had a friend buy it for him in Italy. That guy drove it all the way home to the NL, then trucked it to Rotterdam, where it was put in a shared container and shipped to NY. Took 3 months. He says roll-on roll-off with an old car is a huge risk - the clutch in this car failed after sitting so long and then the 600 mi drive to NL.

That dash looks very similar to my '69 1750 dash. My GTV sat for 30 years, I had to replace the clutch master and slave cylinders, but the clutch itself was in great shape once I got it unstuck when I first got the car back on the road. I really do miss that car more and more every day.

Noted, and the lack of a center console, three switches on the left side of the dash. On the 1750, I think there were two warning lights over there, headlights and fuel pressure.

I can't say I like that steering wheel.

              Yeah, needs three spokes.

Here's that cool Giulia Super again in a new video. This is the guy who works for Singer helping build those 911s.

                                Same here...

It's funny though, when these were new and the dealer brought one to an Alfa club Saturday meet for us to see and drive it, my reaction was it was kind of narrow inside, like a Jetta, the window sills were high, so you felt a bit closed in, and all the buttons were in the wrong place - you had to reach up to a ceiling console above the mirror for the window buttons. But it went like stink, and it handled, and the sound...
