That car will likely have some serious rust to deal with. The two holes shown in the pics are just the tip of the iceberg. Sad it looks like a decent car. It might be better than I think but without looking at it in person, hard to say. I like that its blue and not red.

Milano's are kinda cool, kinda funky and have electrical issues like you wouldn't believe. You can put the 3L V6 in them. They are a dedion rear end, with inboard brakes.

There are lots of pre 75 blues. Have a look. http://www.alfabb.com/bb/forums/car-...materials.html

This is a 3.0 Verde so the one to have. Honestly I drove this car around the block and ridden it a few other times. The sensation is way different than any of the mercs or bmws I've had. Power delivery is extremely smooth. Has a rear trans axle like a 944 Inboard brakes. It's a lowkey wicked little performer. If you want to check it out let me know

yes, i like the blue too. i guess the only way to know would be to go out there and lay eyes on it. i like it though-a lot! assuming its somewhat solid, i would say the price is very good.

Will, Im so happy for you. A project this big has some BIG hurdles to overcome. A thorough restoration like this has some monumental points. This is one of them, especially when you see it in the color you choose. Im excited for you

Thanks. Yes, this is a HUGE undertaking, but, like the Datsun, when its done I will have a meaningful connection with the car. With my GTV, that never happened since I never restored it, I just got it back on the road. I do miss that car, but oddly I never had the attachment to it like I did with the Roadster. My only reasoning for that is because I never took it all apart and rebuilt it from the ground up. This car, I will literally have turned every nut, bolt and screw on it.

Built not bought? Yeah, this qualifies.

That car has come a long way - nice.

Harry's Garage and a nice silver Duetto converted to 1750...

                              100% qualifies!

Even though its not really the same ballpark, thats how I feel with my E30. I've made it what it is today and I feel like anything I can replace it with wont have the same feel that I have with this one. I think after yesterday I have finally convinced myself that its going to stay with me for a long time, and I look forward to the next car I will build.

It will be something that gets posted here ;D

I always have to laugh when I see the "Built not bought" and "Daily Driven" stickers on modern cars. Those owners have no clue what it takes to build a car, and anything built in the past 25 years shouldn't have any issues at all being daily driven.

Hey, you daily drive your civic with an exhaust.... What, do you want a cookie? What do you mean you built the car? Its got a bolt on exhaust and air filter that takes all of an hour to install. I see that sort of thing and my thought instantly goes to the Offspring's "pretty fly for a white guy."
