Take 'em off, way more comfortable.

I wouldn't want to walk in my house with the same surface that has touched public places that have been spit/urinated/defecated upon at one point or another. With that note, I hate people that don't respect a "shoes-off" policy at a house and give attitude when you ask them to take them off.

      Keep it slideways!!

Absolutely no shoes. Can't stand when people wear shoes in my house either.

I don't take them off at the door like some people do, but I kick them off as soon as I sit down. I hate shoes!

Yeah the world is a nasty place and our shoes see some of the worst of it so I leave that world at the door. Plus shoes off is hella comfy, especially when you've worn in a nice pair of furry ass mocks.

It's also rude to track dirt through someone's house.

Why would it be rude? It's about respecting the owner of the home in my opinion.

Maybe I'm so used to removing my shoes at a house but shine some light on your perspective. I am genuinely perplexed.

I think if you expect people to take off their shoes in your home, you should have slippers to offer them.

I agree, rude to expect people to leave their shoes at the door.

I don't have time to take off my shoes at the door, I'm a busy man.

I HATE not wearing shoes. I have really high arches and walking barefoot hurts a decent bit. I am in shoes pretty much from the time I get out of the shower in the morning until just before I go to sleep.

I will take them off at someone else's house though if they so request.

not taking your shoes off at the door, is almost the same thing as letting a fat girl sit in the center of your hood!!!
If you have respect for your things, you would take your shoes off- unless your mommies are still cleaning the floors for you.
that being said, my wife would kick my ass if I decided to walk through the house with shoes on.
