      Good. But that doesn't justify bashing someone that obviously has a father/son hobby thing going on.
      Dad's probably glad his son's not some meth junkie so he's happy to provide some support.

        I just pictured a father supporting his meth addict son. Many lol's were had.

          Exactly. I believe the saying is "To each his own" Just because you live one way, does not mean that every other way is wrong or of less value.

            I'm in the same boat as you but if my dad were to say hey let me cover some of the cost of something that I'm involved in and he has no part in I am more than willing to accept. For one of many reasons such as;

            - Shows me I have support (motivational more so than monetary)
            - I probably wouldn't be able to flourish in a hobby that costs a lot to maintain alone.
            - I wouldn't mind having some bonding time.

            Mind you if its something major like funding an entire engine swap then I would refuse and tell him its okay Ill work for it myself. But covering a partial entrance fee or providing the food during events totally fine by me.
            SO MUCH MORE TO DO!!

              Straight talk. Hence why I'm screwed if I don't get enough money to finish the swap haha.
