Was just telling Lambo that the proper way to prepare a bowl of shisha

take the shisha and squeeze it in your palms to "dry it out". Not all the way but Id say squeeze out a little bit of the juice. Pack it nice and even and try it out... this is the way all hookah lounges do it

As far as cleaning your hookah - yes thats very important. The hoses get tainted after awhile

I don't think I would want to do this. I like the syrup.

And how does everyone here clean their hookah?

The syrup is also what dirties the hookah, if you think about it.

If you have ever been to a lounge, then you know good coals (coconara) + a well packed bowl that BURNS EVENLY is an awesome smoke

I use a phunnel bowl which doesn't allow any syrup to go into the stem.

I think coconara burn too hot

They have good flavor though. My friends and I usually start with two coals and as they burn down add a third

I like using those silver japanese? style coals. Less taste than the chronic even and similiar life expectancy. Super easy to stack to heat up new coals.


So tangiers got icky for me too until switching hoses. Good hookah bars have different hoses for different styles of tastes.

I have gone through two hoses with it. One was homemmade and one was the nuhose.

I want to get a nammor hose soon.

And I believe the local tangiers hookah lounge uses those silver coals.

Yeah this phunnel bowl, Fumari and 3 chronic coals is going like a mofo. I love it!

Nice lambo. Yeah tangiers does use those coals, that's where I buh them from. I also think the fumari lounge does too.

What flavor tangiers do you usually get? I need to go get coals as I ran out of coconara's and I maaayyy pick up another thing of shisha.

Soaking all of the parts to my hookah In a mixture of water/soap/vinegar/lime juice. I broke the Ciroc bottle btw )': Now I moved onto a Jägermeister bottle.

Orange soda with welsh cream is a great mix and recently been smoking hacitragus. Just plumes of smoke and a citrusy taste that never burned/harsh and lasted a long time.

How do you guys do holes for a funnel bowl?

Honestly, just grid holes from a tooth pick for tangiers.

I have not tried much of any of those brands for tobacco as I always just get Al Fahker tobacco. But, whenever I pack the bowl, I always put the tobacco on a paper towel and squeeze out most of the juice. Al Fahker tobacco has a lot of juice on it so drying it out will not affect the flavor. Once dried, I lightly sprinkle the tobacco into the bowl, and fill it neatly without packing it down very much. Keep it light. Double wrap foil, evenly placed 1mm sized holes and place the coal. This will usually last me a good hour or two before it begins to taste burnt. Oh and I clean my hookah each time its used.

Well, after soaking and cleaning my hookah everything still had that shisha/burnt/coal/water smell to it. I think I need to just move onto a new one.

I did watch a few videos on how to pack tangiers in a funnel bowl and I was doing it a bit differently. I tried it according to the video and it was rippinngg. Lots of smoke, decent flavor (ghosting), and all my friends got super buzzed and lightheaded. I packed a bowl of peach iced tea, then did that other breakfast cereal. Both hit better than ever, and we were only able to last two coconaras each bowl before everyone was buzzed and hookahd out.

I realllly want to try a mint flavor as they usually don't give off as bad as vibes and leave a coolinf sensation in the throat.
