5-speed non-cozzie 190e are nearly impossible to find. Cozzies themselves are cool, but they are rare too and you think e30's are expensive. . . Well, you know.

We got the diesel version in the states right? Seems like with no SMOG it would be a great car for a motor swap.

I'd expect to pay anywhere from 8k to low teens for a really nice sorted 16v. Cheaper than e30 M3, but then again, it's not quite as great of a car IMHO. Love my w201 though

You can buy a REALLY well sorted Cozzie for that cash. Maybe not a bad idea.

I'm a big fan. As long as you find one without electrical gremlins and with a working HVAC system, it'll be dead reliable. Very nice to drive.

Find a solid one for $3k. Drop in some H&R Sport springs, Bilstein Sport dampers, and 16v sways. Bolt-on the 4 piston Ate big brakes fom a 400E (or Brembos from a '92-'93 500SL/500E). Buy some used wheels from any Benz you like (personally, I like 16x8" R129 gullideckels and 17x8" AMG Monos). Finally, get rid of the hideous DOT headlights and swap in some Euros. For around $5k you've got yourself a stunner.

Sorry, yeah I should have specified. Any 16v selling in the teens is about as mint as a 25-30k e30 M3. Rough comparison, though I haven't been watching prices that closely for a little while now.

i love the look of this

I guess i haven't really looked into them that much, but i figured you could achieve easy hp out of these cars, and they look good. I didn't think it would cost much more than our bmws

Custom fenders flares? nice. I never liked the wheel arches on these but the body looks nice with the ground effects. Easy HP? no way. They got it bad compared to us. In fact, they envy us when it comes to aftermarket and factory support.

                          I love them.

I never find one manual, tons of cheap automatics though. similar but classier than an e30.

This is my favorite wheel/tire set-up on the 190's. They're great tanks:
