my spotty, few hours per night play, with mostly messing around instead of doing the races has me almost to the orange band. I've got some racing to do!

Things I like about this game:
-Absolutely gorgeous scenery
-Matte Paint
-Offroad racing
-ATS wheels are back
-e30 M3 and 2002 are back

Things that make this no better than a lowly Need for Speed title:
-No tuning? WTF!
-No swapping my 900hp 2002 to AWD? WTF!
-Why does everything rear wheel drive handle like it has blown shocks? WTF!
-No e46 m3? WTF!
-This soundtrack is seriously terrible, and the last one just had electronic elevator music. The only songs I like have been played on local radio for 2 years or more. WTF!

Lol. Each style has its advantages and disadvantages. I kno with FWD vehicles its crazy how they corner. I'd love to see a G meter in that. Powerful RWD cars are sensitive through the twisted and 1-mid third gear is a lot of throttle control. AWD just sucks in corners but are great for off road and through the twisted its like a RWD car accept you don't have to worry about wheel spin.

And they cheat so bad for flynnt in that final showdown race. His Ferrari 599XX handles like a rocket attached to a roller coaster. Luckily he eff'd up towards the end and I caught up and passed him. I beat it in medium. I shared my spoils in the r3v garage

and yeah on the first and second turn of the first lap that thing handled insanely.
but after that i got in front of him and it was game over :)

@spence, yea the race wasn't bad. I used the gtr and blasted past everyone at the start and pretty much held them off until the end. But that showdown, after that I destroyed him the first half of the race and his car looked like a jet on the map with how fast he was moving through the curves

I had an easy win against Malik(? or whoever drives the LF-A) because he did the same thing - He went to cut a corner, hit a bump, started flying and I'm pretty sure I nudged him while he was on 2 wheels. Over and over and over he went :)


Seems like a valid tactic. At least for this game.



I swear, the GT-R that you win, untouched, is slower than it is when you race against it....

Yes...the center highway going North to South (not near the game so idk the name...lol).

But start at the tunnel in the Bugatti (barn find car) and head south. 273.1mph is my highest.

The top is like 274.5

I couldn't like that car if I tried. I think it's ugly and the ccx-r is more stable at high speeds to me but the Bugatti is faster so not much you can do about that. Maybe I'll get over my koenigsegg fetish long enough to get a high speed in the EB110
