Bought it today. So much fun even just driving around. The barn finds are pretty cool as well.

after reading all of this I'm glad I'm waiting until it's way cheaper. I do want to drive around in some cool cars, but I just wish it would be in a forza style, not an arcade.

I popped forza 1 back in my xbox and that's been great. they somehow had a better car selection and way better tracks.
I really miss the full rally di positano in 4 though.

I still think its a good game, most of you are thinking it replaces Forza 4, which it does not. It is meant to be more arcade like guys, they have to make it appeal to casual audiences too, you cant just make all the cars handle like real life, everyone would be doing donuts because they cant handle the throttle.

Exactly! Just like how the guys that made Dirt 1, 2, & 3 made that other Dirt Showdown that ended up being really stupid since it was demolition derby and gymkhana.

Yea. Just somthing to hold us over until forza 5 one day. Even still the game is still very fun and i have no regrets on buying it. And the online free roam and co-op challenges are pretty sweet

Codemasters stopped at decent racing games with Colin McRae '04....Dirt 1,2,3 and Showdown should be unmentionable.

But yes, this is NOT meant to replace Forza 4. It's for peeps that want "easy fun."

Forza 5 better support 20+ laps in hoppers...and real class based racing instead of just matching to their proprietary performance index. Only a few drivers such as Raceboy can drive the real race cars almost at leaderboard pace.

Nice. I've been lurking. sort of. More like waiting for more people to best my times so I can work on them in rivals and earn more money. Mostly just cruising through the game. Hit the last road last night, and picked up a new barn find. D-type FTW!

I was messing around with the I-70 speed zone/trap last night. Fully built Aventador tops out in the 250-260 range. Traffic made for some FUN moments with all of that.... so I'm not actually sure how fast that car goes! Aventador vs. bus = 250 -> 0 in an instant. Aventador at 240+ vs Leaf = Leaf blowing in the wind (LAUNCHED that car!). Yeah, the physics are real.
