So what kind of sweet software are you running that utilizes that $1,000 8core i7?

Any sort of rendering software or video editing. Or if you do tons of multi tasking. I was once running BF4 and rendering two youtube videos on Skype and and was also compressing some MP3s haha didnt break a sweat!

Avid Media Composer for video editing. (well, less and less now-a-days) but I still have a few clients that need editing - and I have a buddy that I traded the CPU for some graphic design work. Otherwise a 4-core is much more affordable.

I'm never buying over priced "hobby knife blades" again. You can get the same blades in a pack of 100 for $10 SHIPPED(unlike 10 for $10 locally). Just ebay "surgical blades". And best of all - they come in so many different shapes. Even the rounded ones you have more control on with cutting a straight line. They are stupid sharp - so be careful. I nicked my finger just picking one up.

Nice pickup, my buddy has a 318 that I have used to mow his yard a few times while he was out of town. The thing was a beast and everything on it is available with high quality replacement parts if not OEM.
