On my way home from work on the autobahn, the fuel pump died.
I called a BMW serviceguy who came in his BMW car, and then he towed me off the autobahn.
A friend of my dad then came in my dads BMW, and he towed me home.
So two BMWs helped another BMW.

This morning mine wouldnt start for the first time in the 3 years I have owned it. Installed new injectors last night and drove it around fine, need to check the C191 again later today.

First time was when my half shafts u-joints exploded and the second was when my water pump had a pretty catastrophic failure letting loose with most of my coolant. Thankfully I had switched to all electric fans or I would have needed a new rad too.

alternator went out on way to school, left till after. then i just put a full battery in and drove a few miles home on battery power. Also you guys are noobs running out of gas just like my old GF's.

Only once, had a chinese water pump desintegrate at 2 am in the country side.

previous cars not so much, just running outta gas that did me in.

EDIT: no, wait, that's a lie, my curent e30 had a shitty 10 yr old Interstate battery that took a shit on me. Luckily my bro was nearby and we got the current one I have in it now

Never ran out of petrol. Thats just dumb.
Half shft broke on me so I ruined the LSD to get me home.
Oil cooler seal blew, just filled the m20 with 20/50 to get home.

1st time I got in an accident. Ran out of gas a couple times. Ran a dead battery for a month twice. So I had to jump/push start my car everywhere. Went canyoning & had massive fuel cuts because of rediculous grade. Mostly my fault & not the cars. Oh & once my rotor almost exploded in my cap off a hard launch. Bent the contact on the rotor chunked the contacts on the dizzy & destroyed the key on the rotor. I hate my car lol

Forgot to mention I snap my shift likeage. Would barely shift into gears & limped / grounded all the way home

Just fucking did an hour ago. Driver axle backed itself out of the diff flange AGAIN! Mind you I put locktite on the bolts when I rebuilt the axles a few months back.

Water pump went on strike in my ETA a couple years ago... In traffic on I95 when it was 98 outside. I ended up with a new pump, radiator, cap and rotor, spark plugs and thermostat out of the deal. Most of that stuff was just maintenance while I was in there and I didn't pay a single penny for it.
