Nah, all the fans in the front are pulling air into the case. So, the GPU should be getting fresh air from the front bottom.

So I'm thinking, instead of doing a splitter, I'm going to run the bottom fan off the motherboard and just plug the top exhaust fan into a molex converter cable.

You could also try putting the rad somewhere else, pulling all that hot air into the case instead of pushing it out isnt good lol.

          +1

I would also like to mention that trying have the same air pressure going in as going out is helpful. Dead air or stale air stuck in the case is no good. If anything have slightly more air pulling out than going in is preferred. Cases are not air tight and exhaust fans will always pull air in from the gaps to make up for the intake fans cfm.

That doesn't seem to be reflected in my motherboard temps, though.

If you guys haven't noticed, my case is pretty small and there really aren't any other spots for the rads. Even if there was space in the top I would rather have it in the front, as it is.

I was actually researching some of ek waterblocks stuff last night. Definitely not going to happen anytime soon but it is some cool stuff.

From my experience bottom case fans are pretty much useless. Even if you use a static pressure fan its hard to get some decent air flow from the bottom unless you elevate your case and create some space to pull air from so honestly it just creates more dust build up in more places.

Remember.. This is mobo temp and not case ambient temp. What is the difference from room temp to mobo temp? You may already be maximizing your current potential. That tiny case is already put you on an uphill climb as it is so don't expect too much.

It's a reference 980, in my opinion doing a custom loop including your cpu would be so worth it and it would so bad ass in the air 240.
You could get a kit for around 200, a block for you GPU for around 100, then fittings, extra radiator, and other little stuff for another 100.

Looks like im sticking with windows 8.1? Microsoft seems to be going a bit overboard with the data mining this time around.

so could you put in a piece of plastic or a block plate to have all the air from the lower front fan blow at the GPU? then flip the fans around to have the radiator blow out, or possibly move it up top instead and keep the fans blowing the same way?

I wouldnt do that, a good deal of heat comes off the back of the gpu. Id just get a fan at the bottom or the back.
