I use HWMonitor and keep it open in my second monitor. You don't need to keep an eye on it though, it saves min and max stats.



It's nice though, just make sure you get the free version.

Yeah, I'm gonna look into it as it's higher than I would like. Maybe I should use my other fan.

I currently have the two static pressure fans in a push-pull config on the rad in the front, an airflow fan underneath those and finally an airflow exhaust fan at the top rear. I'm thinking of adding my extra air flow fan on the bottom of the case, underneath the intake for the gpu. Thoughts? Unfortunately due to the lacking in fan connectors on the motherboard, I'm going to need a splitter. Any disadvantages to them?

A splitter will split the fan power, but not really a big deal depending on fan.

But yeah really do check it out man, and watch where you put the case. I have the slowest quietest fans possible Noctua NF-S12A and its 75* in my room daily and PC never gets over 65-70*.

I want to say my EVGA 970 OC reaches a highest temp of 75. I wouldn't be too concerned at 80* though. Mine also has the ACX Dual fan cooler, so 80* just might be normal.

What cooler do you have on it? Your CPU temps look great.

Yeah my case is sitting on my desk so airflow isn't restricted at all. Typically it's no more than 70 F in the room. I love how Noctuas look, I'm definitely going to pick some up at some point.

It's an H80i GT. It's pretty good. Although I think I'm getting a clicking noise from it. Might have to try to RMA it even though it seems to be functioning correctly.

Can you fit the 100 in there? I'm running the h100i, about 2 years old now and it keeps the amd monster fx9590 at 55*. Figure if your going to send it back might try going bigger.

Dont think he needs it TBH, hes not getting CPU throttling. CPU is actually sitting fine for a game.

What im gonna suggest you do is put an exhaust fan right above the GPU in the back, and one right in front of the GPU in the front, or below it directly under the intake for the GPU.

Already have exhaust above it and intake directly in front of it. Will an additional intake on the bottom throw the intake/exhaust ratio out of whack? I know you want some positive pressure in the case but is too much a bad thing?

Honestly I think too many people read into that far too much. I only have 4 fans, I could probably be fine with 2. But mainly just want cold air in the bottom/lower front. Hot air out the back and maybe top. But im saying put one right above the gpu, like literally as close as possible to the top of the gpu. So it can maybe pull the air off the top of the card.

also i think as long as you have air flow through most of the case that is not cut off by anything it would work the best. i have 1 120mm fan in my ammo box case and my temps are cooler than my original case, since 1.) its smaller 2.) the air from the fan does not need to flow all over the place it just splits between the gpu half and the cpu half and the positive pressure pushes it out the back.

I'm still getting used to this keyboard but the clickity-clackity is so addicting.

I'm gonna pick up a PWM splitter tomorrow and try adding in another fan underneath the GPU.

looking at you case, so the front lower fan pulls in while the rad blows out the front right? could you be partially blowing in hot air from the radiator with that lower fan?
