(1) The shifter feel was bad (3.5/10). Detents were obviously on their way out. Spent $$$$ paying a pro to replace them, the clutch and various worn out shift parts and it still feels ok-ish (maybe 7.5/10) Maybe I was expecting too much, but I did drive a 128i and loved it. Was bummed when I got the car back that it wasnt better.
(2) The car sits on the street 6/7 days of the week, I move it on Trash day, usually wash it and then its dusty the following week. However, the coolant reservoir seems to need to be topped off more often than Id expect it to need it. In fact, once properly filled it should be good right? Well... not in this case... and that makes me nervous.
Other than that, its been pretty awesome. I still have some projects to wrap up on the car before I really judge its worthy-ness. It has the ZHP/ Sport suspension but the struts are worn out. Those will be done soon along with new pads all around... and then once I finish the Sport seats/ Steering wheel... well, it needs to put a smile on my face. Especially if I start spending a lot more time behind the wheel. Im knocking on the door of 150kSimon

I need someone who’s driven dialed-in E46s to drive mine and tell me if it’s normal. Sometimes I swear it feels fantastic and then other times I wonder WTF is wrong with it. Could be all in my head... Regardless, I still have like 5 tasks I need to finish on it before anything happensSimon

And now we see a 3000% increase in traffic on R3v with approximately 27 threads per hour asking what oil should someone use.
