Quick question for you guys I had a recall performed on my e46 a while back for my pcv cyclone and the hoses still have the recall sticker under the hood. got my car back from BMW and the service writer told me to pay for it to get it fixed is there any way BMW NA will cover this repair since it was a recall before? Thanks for reading guys.

I was at a bar last weekend and was chatting with this dude about cars (older cars like the Omni GLH, and Escort EXP) and this other dude comes up and says he overheard our conversation and works as a tech for BMW
So we started chatting about BMW's. He showed me a pic of his e46 325ci and I was like "coo".
Then we started talking about e30's/ He said the reason why they kick their back end out (drift) so easily, is because they have a solid rear axle. I was like -_- no dude, it's IRS, just like my first e30 a 325es. He said maybe it's just the e30 m3's that have it and I said yeah, I guess so :/If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!

This happened to me last weekend. A few of the local vintage bmw guys had a little meet on a slow day at a popular spot. Later on, a guy parks a newer golf and comes up to talk to us. He claims to have an E46 M3, and starts asking if I know of any clean e30 shells around. He asks if mine is euro-spec, since it has smileys and euro trim, then proceeds to say he wanted to build an early car with euro bumpers and an MT1 kit.Originally posted by Andy.B View PostHaha. No kidding. It's actually refreshing to come across someone who knows what they're talking about.
After talking to him for a while, he seemed to have a good knowlege of fairly obscure e30 trivia. I found it really surprising since there are so few of us locally.Originally posted by priapismMy girl don't know shit, but she bakes a mean cupcake.Originally posted by shamesonUsually it's best not to know how much money you have into your e30

The worst part is when you KNOW you're right but they're just so damn persistant, and you really really really want to tell them exactly how something is on the car, but don't because you don't want to be rudeOriginally posted by rturbo 930 View Post^That's pretty much why I don't like talking to people about cars. Too many idiots who have no clue what they're talking about.
