Go to a brewery and taste everything. Once you find a style or attributes you like, look for them in other beers.

Alternately, buy variety packs from whatever manufacturer. Find what you like, buy it occasionally and keep trying new beers in between.

I've had many local and not local crafts, I just stepped away for a while, because I was spending too much money drinking craft beers all the time haha
