What did you buy, the tablets, edible or a rub? My wife has tried them all and I like a rub the best. Actually I just used some today for my neck that is sore as hell. I got the balm with the highest cbd content, and I will say it does work most of the time. The first time i used it i coukdnt turn my neck, then 20 minutes later i could turn it and 75% of fhe pain went away, today it didn't work as well but I did notice some relief. Maybe this time it's deeper in my neck so it's not as effective. Could it be a placebo? Maybe, but I do feel better when I put it on and I'm not pounding pills which I'm not a fan of at all
