What premium would you pay to be able to test drive a motor before you bought it. I'm a cheap bastard so would paying 500$ more than craigslist mystery motor be worth the peace of mind? S54

For the S54 you mentioned, which would be a far more in-depth swap? $500 is nothing compared to the piece of mind that comes from knowing it runs right/well.
