    Heheheh! Knew that was going to come up ;) Like I said I exercise for pure vanity. Running has actually built my legs up tremendously, people are shocked when I tell them I don't lift heavy on legs.


    You guys ever try running a 10k after a leg day? Don't. You will fail lol.

      Lift heavy stuff.....It's how I roll.

      quit being a calorie counter, I'm like you, I pack it on quick with the wrong food. watch what you eat, learn to control your insulin through other non-sugar substances like a butt-load of BCAA's everyday. your body needs that insulin response to build muscle, guys like you and me just have to learn to trigger it differently.

      You're more man then me for running that much, Cardio sucks, it's stupid and I hate it.

      BUT I SWEAR IF ONE MORE PERSON COMES INTO THIS THREAD AND SAYS ANYTHING ABOUT NOT DOING LEGS AND TRIES TO GIVE A JUSTIFIABLE REASON WHY THEY DO SO.....SO HELP ME GOD I WILL FIND YOU AND SMACK THAT NONSENSE CLEAN OUT OF YOUR BRAIN!!

      Do your legs, you don't have to squat a million pounds, push your pride out of the way, put some light weight on and do it, even if it's the bar. you think your legs look good now, introduce a a lighter leg session into your schedule and watch how they change, and the power you will receive.

      I'm going to go left more heavy stuff later, peace homies.

      Lift hard or go home.

              Just because you put a bar with weights on your shoulders and went "up and down" doesn't mean its a squat.....please compare.

                Headed to the jim fellas. Today's menu: Ramp up to 245x1x5 heavy squat, ramp up to 90x2x5 heavy OHP, and top the day off with medium weight clean and jerk.

                PS - Just picked up a new flavor of Intek. HOLY FUCK. Best tasting whey I've found so far. Mixed with a little Glutaplex (vanilla), heavenly.

                      I just got back from jim. He let me squat, clean, and press him.

                      New PR! 105lbs strict press. It took me 7-8 seconds to get it up (pause), but I never broke form and stuck with it. And for fun, I jerked it twice (pause). Also 240x5. I read my plan wrong, today was 240x1x5. Nailed it. No spotter.

                                Dude....just LOL'd in my office.

                                Form over weight, do it right or not at all is my thought. I do that especially with DB's, if I get to the end of a set but my form just straight blows, I drop weight get something lighter and finish it out.
