scabzzzz, this is pretty much exactly the body-type I'm going for:

My shoulders are pretty close, as are my forearms, legs are about the same. Still burning away the gut and chesticles, but they're getting noticeably smaller every week.

Word! Thats pretty much my body type right there, or at least back in the summer when my body fat was a few percentages lower (dat winter bulk). I had built up some fat i wasnt used to and man it took crazy dieting to get back to that weight (~170).

Honestly, I'm shooting for this. Henry Cavill in the latest Superman. Typical powerlifter look a la 70s Big.

Very nice. I think I'm well on the right track to getting to Bond-status.

Pulled last night, first time in several weeks so I only hit 415. After seeing the video I should have gone up again.

IronFreak, looking good, I cannot get the sumo form down.

Since we're sharing SO's deadlifting, hold on, uploading mine DLing 225. Also, SOOOO close in getting her to bench 135. She'll have it by the end of the year.

Minor back rounding but it was a PR attempt.

I have actually gone back to it. It's the form I used when I powerlifted but after I stopped I thought I would try out conventional. It was fine until this spring where I was getting quite a bit heavier. started having severe hip pains. My chiropractor is a powerlifter and recommended I stick with sumo as I have very long legs in comparison to my torso. Create lots of long levers and puts unneeded stress on my hips. with sumo I have significantly less movement in my legs and can keep my torso more erect placing the load on the upper back instead of the lower.

With this being said, i've tried sumo deadlifting. It "feels" better, but I cannot deadlift nearly as much. I can attempt to pull, say, 325 in sumo form and it feels like im going to break in half. I have a long torso, long arms, long legs (im 6'2). But then I go down and pull conventional via hook grip and knock it out real easy. Any advice?

                        SPEAKING OF SUMO DEAD LIFT

                        PS - I wanna post videos 2 :)

HAMSTRINGS AND GLUTES! I blast them hard. the sumo uses different areas of the back then conventional. there is a lot more motion in the lower back during conventional then sumo. you have to get your hamstrings and glutes really tight at the bottom or you just gas out. it's more of a stand up then uncurl motion if that makes any sense at all.
