    Inspirational. Keep going man!

If you're ever in Tampa, Florida let me know. You have a place to stay here, no problem. My roomies and I would love to kick back and have a good time with you.

I'll continue to follow your journey, cheers!

Oh, I did keep going. I made it to the Atlantic coast.

And, I made it back to wisco. Updates will have to be later though. I had to be back to go to my grandfathers memorial service, which is Friday.

The trip still isn't done yet though. Once I find my memory card I'm still meandering a little bit. However, my card may have been lost completely. I have no fucking clue as to where it is. So I have no pictures from Norfolk back to wisco.

But there's still tons to share with you guys. It WILL take some time, but stay tuned. I have flickr now.

I think I rolled through there a month ago. I THINK!

My perception of time has been seriously skewed for a little bit.

I was able to navigate SF pretty much from memory of playing Driver (on PC). When we were there my wife was amazed by that fact, and still is to this day.

If you make it down here, by the time you do, I'll be in Orlando and have my own place with college roommates and I'm sure I could convince them to let you borrow the couch.

I haven't forgotten about this thread! Just having a bear of a time transitioning from Photobucket to Flickr.

But it is underway. In the meantime, A wild update appears!

Before I can continue, I need to say I'm back home. My grandfather is now buried, but his legacy lives on.

However, life always throws you curveballs when you least expect it. The morning of my grandfathers burial, the Sheltie that I picked out of the litter 14 years ago, trained, and touched many a hearts with passed away. We had to bury both her and my grandfather on the same day. This one's to you Chewie. You'll be remembered for many things, including being the only dog in history that howled like a racecar shifting.

                        IMG_3975 by JayDLundin, on Flickr

With that said. Let's continue with the updates! In Hemet, I now had a month to make it to the other side of the country, and BACK to get to my grandfathers burial.

So, here we go. From Hemet, CA to El Paso TX

But, hark? What's this? We're In Vegas!
The E30 didn't make it there. Took a Neon SRT that a friend needed to register in NV, and stayed there for a whopping 6 hours. I lost all of $10 in vegas, but the grand total of what I lost in Vegas was $4010. Roughly.

Long story short, 2 parts cars got towed to the junkyard without my knowing until after the fact. Full of hartge and ACS goodies. It happens, nothing I could do about it.

Now, there were dust devils EVERYWHERE, however. My camera wouldn't see them unless it had a polarized filter, which the only one I had was my sunglasses. So this picture is me holding my sunglasses in front of the lens while driving, taking a picture.

                          Love this thread.

I've driven across country 5 times now and each has been an experience I will remember the rest of my life.

Been to MTU, I don't know how people go to school up there. I left Michigan because I couldn't stand the snow.

Safe travels! I hope the trip cures what ails you!

Jake did you stick around in Tuscon long enough to learn how to pronounce that "correctly" down there ????

They slaughter Houghton down there, they call it How-ton. I think you took that pic not all that far from my brothers house (prolly 4-5 miles give or take)
