And then I found 5 dollars.It was an attempt at something different, but I agree that it went too far. Its a social and cultural taboo to portray suicide in this kind of a context. They might as well have done a commercial around a rape, or physical child abuse or neglect. These all just conjure up disgust and would do little to engender appeal to a product.Comment

You're implying nudity is more offensive than making light of suicide/death? This is what's wrong with American media.
Personally the ad doesn't bother me, but I can see how it could irk someone who's dealt first hand with a situation like this. I'm also half expecting some dimwit children to try this with mommy's car because they saw it on TV.Comment
