R3V costs break down as following

$2400 (well, 199.99 a month) for server colocation
$3000 a year toward emergency breakfixes, licenses, etc) IE this is money I put to the side to pay for upgrades/site improvements. Last year we spent about $1800 of this, this year I JUST spent $500 on a new Firewall after ours kicked the bucket with the PowerSupply
$3000 a year goes into the annual party, we make custom glasses every year, + kegs, BBQ, etc
Remaining that we make goes into the Accuracy Automotive/R3VLimited Shop/Racing fund.

Google usually brought in $600 - $1400 a month, around $800ish a month before it died.

By the way, it's been inferred that this announcement and idea were created so I could take credit for "getting R3V back", while ignoring those who stood up in the past to stand against what was going on. Please be aware that this is NOT the case. I simply volunteered to create the announcement. I want to see R3VLimited back to the way it was just as much as everyone else. If anyone feels that I stood by and didn't take action in the past, I apologize for that. I'm trying to help take action now.

This place is where I spend way too much of my time. I love this place, and I have no issues with contributing to the case and to get this place back to how it always has been.

Here's another little idea, why not add a small $5-$20 fee on all group sales.

We get Abrahams/ESM/EJskidplates/Garagistic and the likes, bumping sales threads all the time. I really believe it's a fair, small amout to be able to do business here, in the biggest e30 community there is., hell even a small t-shirts group buy could contribute to the cause, 5-20 bucks is not very much to donate.

Will be donating before the end of the month and, hopefully make it a habit on the monthly basis.

This is amazing news, i have not used pp in like 3 years, but i will try to load something on there just for my "home site" it is silly how many hours i have spent here in the last 5-6 years.
