This video starts at the tipping point of the interaction, unless you see the events leading up to it you cannot say that they just waltzed on up and arrested him.

I'm sure its probably been said already, but the cops are probably racist.

1. He's not the only one recording
2. I don't see any police lines that say don't cross
3. The guy is obviously getting close, but I don't hear or see any cops warning or motioning him to get back. It literally takes seconds to ask him to step across the street for his own safety. He obliviously would have complied, because when they arrested him he didn't protest.

To arrest him without any instruction to move is joke and leads me to believe that they're just racist and I hope the city has to pay dearly for it. They took a member of his family.

To everyone who says he's an idiot and had it coming, need to understand that you can't arrest an idiot who isn't breaking the law or half you guys would be in jail.

that owner has to be one the biggest idiots ever. who blares music and parks their car in the middle of the street when clearly a violet crime is in action. then gets out and walks the dog.
owner is 100% at fault. the cop is trash that should have been fired for his indiscretion a year ago. so it's also 100% the cops fault.

Nah, your untrained dog that you couldn't control charging and lunging would probably the one who would get shot.

But hey, if taking your dog to a crime scene, being obnoxious, parading it around, and purposely trying to cause a disturbance is your cup of tea, then you go right ahead showing off your lack of common sense. If your unleashed dog charges towards anyone with a gun and lunges at them because of your lack of control over it, that's all on you.

Yes, once he decided to shoot the dog, he should have made sure it was over quickly.

Just like that POS in the video you linked, you can see after a few seconds the dog starts wagging his tail and the officer just keeps looking at him without ending his suffering.

The dog was still moving/twitching, who knows if his poorly placed shots had actually done the job.

There was another video I saw this morning that is even more disgusting. Cops untie a dog, then restrain it using a long pole with the collar, get the dog calmed down, then the officer pulls out his gun and executes the dog in the driveway while it's restrained.

Of course it was moving/twitching, that's because it was in PAINNNN...It just got shot 4 times unexpectedly! How did you expect the dog to react? sit, lay down gently and die? He should have just emptied the whole clip instead i guess....Come on people!

YOU need go what the the video again not me, even after the dog had rolled on to the street twitching on the ground, the cop was still pointing the freaking gun..and standing about 20ft. Yea, what a threat
