I use both. It's kind of weird. I say "I-5", not "the I-5", but say "the 405" not "405". Really, I only don't use "the" with I-5.

Around here, most prople just refer to them by the number "75" "275", etc. Some use the "I" in front of it, but never "the 75" or "the I-75".
In Florida, I know a lot of British people there and they refer to all numbered roads with "the" in front of them - such as "the 192"Current Cars2014 M235i2009 R56 Cooper S1998 M31997 M3
