Okay, I finally started playing with my settings again and realized, my computer is running abnormally warm at idle. My CPU is steady around 50 c at idle, no OC. When I am not lazy, I will clean out all the dust that probably has been building up in there and I might need to reapply thermal paste. I should probably look into some better cooling options over the stock heatsink and fan.

I had that problem with a 5770 a while ago. It was hitting 90*C under load all the time.
Took it apart and found the heat sink completely covered.
Funny thing though, when I replaced my motherboard this weekend I decided to take apart my GTX 660 and clean it up/apply new thermal paste. That heat sink was almost completely clear after about 18 months of use.No E30 ClubOriginally posted by MrBurgundyAnyways, mustangs are gay and mini vans are faster than your car, you just have to deal with that.

bu aanyways watch the air compressor though since the condensed water molecues have a possibility of shorting the board, not a huge deal since ive used one for the same thing i just did it in spurts and not holding it down.

it was fine. I'm not worried about a little condensation from the air compressor. :p
