            well, i look at it like this: wether you fall 100 feet or 1600, its gonna kill you. i would be more comfortable if there was a tether all the way up but i think that after doing that job for a while i could get used to it. i always figured that if i had to get out of my industry for some reason, i would look into installing/repairing wind generators. i am pretty sure there would be a good deal of climbing in that career too.

                    I ain't free climbing that shit.
                    I used to have a hard ass time at 130' Climbing the derrick to grease the crown sheaves when I worked on the oil rigs and that was tethered.
