Favorite classic video game

we played Wolfenstein 3D on the computers in my middle school. Some kid brought in his stack of 5.5" floppy disks and we all copied it. yeah I'm old.. also there's no way in hell you could do that today.

back in like 1985 we played the original Oregon Trail on our color Apple. yeah.. the school only had one. :p

I remember in my freshman year, we installed Quake on all of the computers in the computer lab and would play lan multiplayer after school for about an hour every day. That was fun.

Another classic, played four person for hours on my friends "big screen".



I almost forgot about this one! Another great FPS.

F-Zero... I'm not ashamed to admit that I used to blast the Wayne's World soundtrack while zoning into this game. Fire Stingray on Mute City, with "Feed My Frankenstein" by Alice Cooper.

My choices are relatively new, but these were my favorites when I was a kid:

Mario Kart and Super Mario 64
Twisted Metal series
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series
Halo. Yeah it's fairly new, but that will always be a favorite of mine, I think it deserves a place on the list.

Contra, I played that game a lot. After renting it from Earls video(before Blockbuster) in Dundalk MD every week for 2 or 3 months. My grandparents got it for me, I have a vhs home video of me opening it on my birthday.

And it wasn't a game, but the game genie was awesome.
