Saying "like" more than once. This dude in a class that says "like" sooooo many times in one statement its ridiculous. Drives me up the wall! He came into the common area in a building an I had to leave from all of his "uh like ... like... like..." OMFG it makes him sound like a moron...

I feel the same way. Always loads of cars in the ditch, accidents everywhere during the first snow. I think last year I counted 7 in the ditch on the way into work, and it wasn't even 7am yetEvery first snowfall is a clusterfuck where I live and I can't even blame tourists or Californians. Everybody just forgets how to drive on snowy roads and it's always a morning of bumpercars and clowncars and idiocy. Native-born white-bread suburban 50-year olds behave like they've never, ever seen snow before and drive into each other with complete surprise showing on their faces. Every. F-ing .Year. The only thing they remember is how to feather the throttle to get going but forget that stopping might take some finesse too.
The clock is ticking on this year... any day now.Leave a comment:

Quoting because this just happened again. Savings account just got wiped out and got rejected for any funding for school because I "make too much money". So now I have to pull $200 out of my paycheck every week to save for ASU leaving me barely $100 to save every week. FML.I think almost everyone can relate to this.
-Can't work on car because it's my only daily now and my drz is draining power unable to be driven.
-Can't work on drz because I'm going to school full time and working 50 hours a week.
-Going through my degree progress and realizing I've been in school for nearly 3 years straight and because of changing majors I'm equivalent to a sophomore.
-Seeing how much school is going to cost because apparently I make too much money LOL BULLSHIT.
-Greedy motherf***ers who sue you because they're little bitches and don't understand you can't sue someone over something that you're doing illegally.
-Making $45k+ a year and pinch pennies left and right but life always throws curve balls at you and wipes out your savings.
-Can't save up EVER to go on vacation but it seems like all of your friends are capable of doing anything financially while they work at McDonald's.Leave a comment:

Today was the day I was to get my M30 dropped into my awaiting e30.
My vert sat for weeks like an eager prom queen getting her engine bay cleaned out, and other niggles put in order.
Saturday...the final check.
Everything in order, checked and rechecked my FrankM guide to assure I haven't missed a beat.
I check to see that I can rent a engine hoist for Sunday morning...website says they open at 9am Sundays.
I fire out of bed at 730 and eat 2 lbs of cereal and get a coffee. I'm up before my wife as happy as could be.
Head out to get engine hoist from rental depot.
...it's 9:10...not cars in lot...looks pretty dark...
I step out of the car for a closer look...store hours:"SUNDAY: CLOSED"
WTF.
website said 9-2.
I feel my excitement just fizzle away...there is nowhere else to get one...I'll wait until next week I guess.
So close to dropping in engine today....so close.Leave a comment:

The mall, in general. More specifically the lower level, with its gauntlet of kiosk salespeople trying to sell me dumb shit despite my deliberate avoidance of eye contact or any expression of interest in their wares.Leave a comment:
