Did a ghetto street 1/4 mile with my 85 318i. Was a good 17 secs...

Yes, we would think about leaving but we heard there is burnout.

I changed out the 4:10 lsd in my mtech 2 for a 2.93 lsd before I drove it to Denver this spring. It got along just fine here in Houston and my mileage went from about 20 to 26 mpg.

What I didn't consider was how bad the car's performance would be at 6000 feet. Occasionally, I will take it for a drive in the mountains. At 9000 feet, it REALLY sucks.

Nope. Seen slower. Not sure who would ever want to own one, but I've seen at least one automatic 318 convertible on here.

Link? I'm almost certain the m42 never had an auto option in the e30.
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

My badly tuned 1986 4 door euro M20B20 can out-slow just about anything on the road that isn't hauling bricks.
It makes Race Car noises and leaves behind clouds of unburned premium dinosaur.
It has fender gap like a Unimog.
                        It is the Ur-30.
