With Israel as on edge as they've been the past few weeks with all of this bullshit sabre rattling from Iran and the nonsense in Gaza, Lebanon/Hezbollah picked the wrong bull to fuck with at this point in time.

I think the statement from the Israeli defense minister of "we will set that country back 20 years" summed it up pretty well. They are going to level Lebanon, in hopes of brining Syria into this full bore. Syria doesn't stand a chance against the Israeli forces. This will solve a number of problems.

Hell, if any of these Israeli hostages show up in Iran, I think they'll go ahead and solve that little nuclear problem for us too.

If I were the President and forced to aid this war in some way it would be to level Palestine for good. In the process make the entire territory unable to sustain life with the help of some nuclear arms.

That should keep them from fighting for at least a good thousand years or so. Until then they can go hang out in Iran or Syria until the radiation cools off. ;)

a few things of note: iran has syria's back if israel attacks them. if iran gets involved against israel, chances are near 100% that the u.s. will fight alongside israel. that could bring anti-american sentiment to full yield in that region, and we could easily be looking at a big, bloody, expensive, full-blown and then guerilla war on the scale of 5 or 6 iraqs.

palestine doesnt actually have any territory, you cant "level" palestine in the same way that you cant level blacksilvania.
