                Yeah, someone actually posted that story from the R3v archives. I remember reading it the first time and immediately vowing that I would not be messing with bumper shocks and drills at the same time.

                    Drilling bumper shocks sucks. I wore glasses the time I did it, should have work a full face mask. Hated the look, threw them in the trash and scored euro bumpers.

                                If you keep all the parts, and it can be put back to original easily, then I don't really see the big deal. Yeah, it's devalued in modified form, but you can put it back to original and gain that value back pretty easily.

                                I don't think it would be worth the effort, but on paper it's not that bad an idea.
