They have that black one with the BBS and Brembos....but I'm kinda drawn to the Ceramic one, sans BBS and Brembos. Still a club, so still has the Billies and LSD and the club spoiler(s). Feels like you can see more of the details in the body, it's not lost in the shadows like with the black one.
My thoughts....I'm not a big wheel guy. As long as it's not ugly, I'm fine. The brakes....they're the SAME in the rear of all of them. The Brembo shit is just the front...and really....how much braking does a 2300lb car need?
I really just want LSD and the Billies and I'd be set.
White ones is a bit cheaper too.....by like $3500, that's how much the BBS/Brembo pac costs. We all know I'm a cheap bastard.
Miatas have always looked like they would be fun, but on paper they look dreadfully slow, like way slower than even an M20 car. Never had a chance to drive one, though I figure that's what I will buy for a temporary car when I eventually have my E30 repainted.
I think I kinda quit thinking Miatas were cool when I started getting to drive an S2k half regularly (company car at old job), people say Miatas don't even compare, but like I said, still never drove a Miata so there may be some magic there I need to experience. Like the magic of an E30, or an early Neon, everyone thinks Neons suck until they drive a twin cam/5sp car.

The new Miata should have a better power/weight ratio than a late model 325. Figure an E30 weighs around 2800lbs, 170hp, Miata has 155hp, and it weighs, what, 2300lbs? On paper, it should be faster than an E30. Neither one is gonna push you into your seat, but that's not really the point of the Miata.
I royally fucked my Miata yesterday on the way home. Was driving slightly aggressively and had a brain fart that didn't make me avoid a large pothole on the inside edge of the roadway, not sure why I missed it to be honest.
Anywho, instant vibration at first and pulling hard to the right. I thought I blew a tire out, luckily I didn't and was close to home.
Caster looks ok to the naked eye, but the right front is toed out badly.
It's time for a good set of coilovers and ditch the xxrs for a properly sized set of TRM wheels I think.
