Prime Day 2017 Deals Thread

Well, Prime Day starts at 9pm EST today and I figured we could post some good deals in here when we find them.

I'm mostly looking for garage stuff, tools, etc...maybe the odd thing for the house but we'll see what pops up. I was generally underwhelmed with last years deals but we'll what pops up this year.

So far nothing has got my interest. Although I'm sure the deals up here in Canada will be a lot less spectacular than what our neighbours to the south will get.

Yeah pretty underwhelming. Last year I picked up a few things, but this year I haven't seen any "deal" worth getting excited over.

Picked up a table lamp that was on my wish list. $5 off. A new chrome book for my son since he needs one for school. $40 off. A sling bag for my wife when we go to the beach. $10 off. Not bad.

Just snagged a Bosch Distance Plus oil filter for under $6, but it wasn't even a Prime Day deal. I've never been impressed with the whole Prime Day thing, most of the deals are for items that are run of the mill consumer goods.

It was a waste of time if you ask me. Nuttin' but horseshit at a miniscule discount. Maybe this is in its infancy and will catch on some day like.....i dont know...crampus day, stevie wonder day or maybe sweatty butt crack sniffing day.
