This is sad

actually, I find that is quite the opposite of sad. that car has played hard, sun or snow.
its been driven, and thats the best part about BMWs!

While I agree that driving a car is the point of owning a car, I do not agree that a car that has been driven 'hard' should be look like a piece of rusty Swiss cheese. I've never owned a BMW (or any sports car) that I have driven gently....I have also never owned one with 1/5th that amount of rust.

wut? No, look at the thing, that is sad. It is completely rusted out and has been sitting basically derelict for years at this gas station, I don't know why. Maybe the gas station owner owns it, who knows, but it's completely neglected. You can tell it has been sitting for a long time by looking at the flat tires with white streaks running down them and the ground under the car. Basically it's waiting to be declared an eyesore by some busybody in the city and towed off for crushing.
Basically this:

even in it's derelict condition, it's freakin' beautiful! If it's got tits or tires, it's gonna cost ya!Comment

Yeah, that's why I was drawn to take photos of it, I found a sort of beauty to it. It's a very contrasty subject and that always looks good. It's a great subject but it's in a very unphotogenic place. I'd have to catch it when the lighting was just right to do anything with it, otherwise it's just an ugly, drab downtown area with a striking car in it. Just something I happened to come upon and take photos with what I had on me.Last edited by varg; 12-12-2016, 09:00 PM.Comment

I have been doing an increasing amount of photography for work. Trying to learn more tricks everyday, so much to learn!
Here's one from a photoshoot last Friday.
