As stated, a 2k rounds mix of .30-06, 30-30 and 9mm.
On another note, only failure to load in my CZ SP01, must have been the reloads I was shooting as it left a bullet in the throat. Just enough powder to push it 1/2 inch so the next round could not chamber. A little worrisome, but not over the 5+k of rounds I have bought through this ammo source with only 1 failure to fire so far.

Anyone fire or own a CZ-97 or an EAA Witness 45?

No, but after reading reviews, its really just a .45 version of the SP-01/P-01. Desperately in need of a trigger job, and if one is going to spend that amount, just get a good 1911.
I have the SP-01 and I am not as impressed as many reviews would have had me believe, especially about recoil as the beaver tail is still much too low to get a high grip on it like I can with a Glock. "Low bor axis", but you can't get your hand high enough. I don't believe bore axis statements anyway without measurements.Last edited by R3Z3N; 05-03-2016, 07:13 PM.

Starting to put together some survival supplies and am currently doing my do diligence on water filters. What are you guys using? Im reading good things on Berkey for the home and sawyers in each vehicle. Sleeve im sure you have some experience with field water filtration in you line of work. This would most likely be for hurricane preparedness but possibly shtf as well.

Should have my form 1 suppressors stamp any day now.
I'm very tempted to make a .45 can (run 9mm through it as well), and a shorty .30 can as well. Just debating spending the money and filing before this new ruling takes effect.

I have a Marlin lever action carbine that shoots 44 mag too. That gun is a hoot.
