Well there's that and the SBR barrel itself which has to be pressed in from what I've gathered. Then again if your already spending that much green what a few hundred more for the tax tamp, barrel, labor and oh why not, an Osprey suppressor. At that point though I would have bought my e30 3 times over.1991 325i - "Scambles" The Daily Driven lightly modded.

While I like the look and feel of the gun, I came to realize it's a modern version of an over-engineered and unwieldy, 'tommy-gun'. Handle one of those as well and you'll see what I mean.
It's a big, porky gun shooting a pistol caliber. If you want to stick with the caliber, I think you'd be better served by a full-house, multi-stack .45 from STI or Para Ordnance.
I watched an episode of some outdoor/gun show (I cannot recall the name) where 2 guys (ex-military) ran a course shooting a Kriss vs. a Thompson sub. Both guys experienced numerous jamming problems with the Kriss. Not that I would expect this to be indicative of the gun's design, but it does make a strong statement with regards to dependability.
I guess it boils down to what you want and expect of your gun. If you want something that looks cool and gets a lot of, "ooohs" and "ahhh's" at the range, then this gun should do the trick. But I don't consider it a carbine and it's too big/bulky to be a pistol, but that's just me.Comment

I guess I've always looked at it like a cool gun that was built for controllability under full auto fire. I would only want one if I could utilize what it was designed for, FA giggles.Comment
