Why not just buy an AR lower and then build the gun later on when you've got the money, so as to not have to worry about selling those other guns?

Back during the AWB you could not just buy a lower and build it later. You would have to have proved that the lower was a complete gun by the time the sunset ban came around.
People were putting together lowers using other parts from other guns and taking a picture of them documenting the build.
A lot of these laws sound good to the public but are filled with loop holes and no way of proving one way or the other.
Im sure you could get away with it and never see anything from it. But you always take a risk, even tough a very slight one.Build your own dreams, or someone else will hire you to build theirs!

Found a buyer for the muzzle loader! Now I just gotta unload the S&W before I order a car-a4 kit from RRA (minus lower). I'll find a lower local so I can skip the FFL and do a face to face at the local MSP barracks.
Had an RRA before, decided on another. Unfortunately I really wanted to go 20" but $770 for a complete kit with chrome barrel and RRA 2 stage trigger, can't really complain. No E30 ClubOriginally posted by MrBurgundyAnyways, mustangs are gay and mini vans are faster than your car, you just have to deal with that.

I used to air soft with a Aug I liked it the design is very comfy and fits really nicely against your shoulder you can also change mags with with the gun still at your shoulder, I don't know if that helps you much but the air soft versions are like exact physical copy's88 325is Five SpeedLachssilber

Thanks for the info, fellas. As you can see, both rifles are very close in design and layout. What I like about the Tavor is that they are semi-unique. I mean, everyone has an AR-15, right? The Tavor is also supposed to be reliable with AR15 mags, although MagPuls are the hot ticket (from what I've read).
Haven't handled the Tavor yet, so no feedback on how it compares to the AUG. The AUG seems 'backheavy', for those of you that have picked one up. I'm sure this aids in changing out mags, as HFS pointed out.
