None yet for me, most of my driving is within the city.
I have been picked up once when my engine siezed up (the milkshake), I was on my way to a track, and broke down about 1/2mile from the exit. I was picked up by a porsche. I will never, ever live that one down with the gpr pca

We had a similar saying that went, "Gas, grass or ass. Nobody rides free."
The only time I picked up someone was when there was this family of 5 from out of town stranded on the side of the road after their tierod broke. All 5 of them piled into the E30 and I brought them home with me. Looking back on the situation, it might have been smarter to put them up in a hotel. I just felt so bad for them.Comment

My (female) friend used to hitch hike on a regular basis. One day, she was trying to hitch a ride home from school, and some sleazeball picked her up. A few minutes after they got on the road, he whipped out his johnson and started trying to negotiate prices with her. She started screaming at him to stop the car, and ended up hopping out at a stoplight and walking (or running) home.
She doesn't look anything like a hooker, but she does have a tendency to get herself into STUPID, easily avoidable situations like that. Good thing she's a ninja.sigpicComment
