Great advise, and true. I'm trying to get my seat back a bit farther as it is not comfy on the ass, and lo and behold, my knees have been hurting in the front as well. I did not realize the two were related.

Here's a few methods to set seat height. Personally I used .883xinseam for BB to saddle height.

Haha, I am an uberdork so I use lights. So this one time my lights were malfunctioning, and I was on my way home from the trails. I rode near this cluster of garbage barrels, and my lights went out. I hit them, and when they snapped on, I saw that right in front of my tire was a skunk. I was like NOOOOOOOOOOO! But fortunately the skunk didn't see me and I turned probably the fastest I've ever turned in my life to get away from him.

If I remember correctly, you wear DC skate shoes that you can find in any mall in America, baggy Old Navy cargo shorts, and a Volcom tshirt. So you shouldnt say much.

I'm probably the least fashionable dresser on this forum - except when it comes to dress clothes. I've been wearing the same shit since 2002. I stick out like a sore thumb when I go to the skatepark. I'm pretty sure I looked pretty conservative @ critical mass too.

Oh now, that's just the dumbest shit I've heard in this thread. I'm not sure what you think sucks about them? These lights are not made to illuminate the road in any way. These lights are to make sure people see YOU. I just got a rear knog light and I love it. It's incredibly low profile, doesn't kill the styling on my bike, and I've got the peace of mind that drivers coming up behind me see my ass. Before I even knew knog lights existed I was planning on rigging up some LEDS underneath my brooks saddle, when I saw this at my LBS I said fuck it and sprung for one.

Yeah man, didnt you know Knogs are hipster? All the hip kids use them, therefore you should not. And they suck. Real real bad. Thats why no one uses them. Because all 500,000 customers this year are wrong.

Special Order Size 15 DC's ( two week wait time minimum @ the mall ), Never purchased anything from Old Navy before, and yeah Volcom Tee-Shirt ( When a good childhood friend is in Marketing kicks you boxes of freebies with blems ) to wear outside when playing around, or typical house clothing.

Scorry, scabzzzz. I was joking about a state I have researched heavily in context of planning to move there, didn't mean for you to get so butthurt and make a personal attack in your retreat.

They are too small to see the road, the bands break off easy, they are affected by fog/moisture and being dropped. You also said you just got it, so see how long the life is. I've seen a huge pack of riders go down the main road nearby me at 10 pm, and, the few guys with the frogs were hard to pick out of the crowd. I don't know about you, but I don't give a fcuk about styling at 11pm while people are heading home drunk from the bar.

I also was gonna buy the front and rear pack, but I like to buy a good item once instead of a mid level one twice.

The hipster comment was more geared to the fact that everyone is buying them even though they are not top knotch, because, well EVERYONE is buying them, it's a trend/fad. I am a flashlight whore, and those don't meet my requirements for being on a bike. Maybe in heavy metro areas where there are four street lamps per block, but in darker outskirts, the knogs don't cut it.

the only problem I have with that guy is the look on his face.

You didnt read my post well then. These lights are so people can see you, not so you can illuminate the road. For this purpose they work perfectly.

Also, I don't see how weathering or breaking would be an issue. Then again, I'm not doing barspins and nonsense. I just ride, and keep my bike inside the house.

Thanks for the tip. I thought my knees hurting was cause I haven't ridden a bike in a couple years.

Knog Frogs are going to do nothing for him but let drivers see him. He sounded like he needs light to see the road at night.

I'm not barspinning nor doing nonsense either, and my bike gets hung up in the garage when not in use to protect it from the elements as well. But, the issue with breaking is from the night install, daytime removal system. People that are anal about the asthetics will take them off in the daytime and the bands stretch/tear off rather easy. They also become more brittle because of the flex plastic they are made out of getting affected by the heat cycling of your bike outside when your riding under direct sunlight,
