I have been waiting for this puppy for a long time. I would type up all the specs but that would be to much work so I will just let this thread on digital corvettes do the talking. http://www.digitalcorvettes.com/foru...72#post1022772
"hey dudes, let's take an otherwise attractive car, tack on some gaudy pap, bore it out some and then watch people pay $20k over sticker after waiting on a list for six months."
Some of the aero-influenced bits may seem unattractive to the eye, but they do serve a purpose. They say this car has a more sophisticated suspension which is a lot like the system Ferrari & Audi use - making it compliant or track capable at the flick of a switch. Its basically everything the Z06 was, just a bit more and better suspension. If it proves itself well this car will be the performance bargain king. I'm looking forward to reading more about it once it becomes available.

it's still a corvette, and it's still made by the general. that means after it's about 2 years old it will feel like it's 15 years old and look dated. maybe it's because i'm not 50 and don't wear gold chains, but i don't get corvettes.

Um... It's a smaller engine, is supercharged and makes over 100 more HP. It's also mostly carbon fiber, has better suspension, better clutch, better brakes, etc... I think you get a lot for the money. Hell, it will pull 1g in the corners.
I do agree about the looks though. I like the ZO6's styling better.
Oh, and they are still using transverse mono-leaf suspension.
